OPENING LETTER

Hello everyone,

So often in life things do not go as planned. I had completed my December newsletter and had it ready to go out, when two weeks ago I lost everything in my email program, including my archive of articles and information for future letters. So this newsletter is being put together on short notice. Lately my life has been extra busy and stressful, as many people's lives tend to be at this time of year.

This leads me to something I would like to remind everyone. No matter what your religion or spiritual beliefs are, this is a very special and spiritual time of year. We are just going through the darkest time of the year. We have just passed the Winter Solstice, the shortest and the darkest day. This is a wonderful time of year to go inside and reflect on our lives, all we are, where we have been, and where we see ourselves going. I hope and pray that each of you opens yourself to all the wonderful spiritual energy that is available at this time. Somehow we are closer to spirit, or spirit comes closer to us at this time of year. Take the time with yourself, your families, and with those you love, to let heal the wounds of the past, and allow a new future to be born.

I want to wish everyone a wonderful holiday, a Merry Christmas, and a
very Happy New Year filled with peace, prosperity, and good health!

I know I used this quote last month, but I don't have a better one for this month. This is very true and inspiring what Einstein is saying here. I think our civilization is dying because we have lost contact with the true mystical, with the Holy Spirit, with the spiritual energy that is behind all life. I am hoping and praying that the new year will bring a renaissance in people's hearts and souls. I am hoping there is a vast awakening and people become interested in the mystical/spiritual. This will also naturally lead to an end to the destruction of nature, our food sources, the destructive practices of modern medicine, people's addiction to destroying their own bodies and lives, etc. Because time is running out. We have to change soon, or we will be changed by the reaction of our own foolish, greedy destruction of nature and our human bodies. We can make positive changes, or we will be changed through negative painful changes, either way we will change and evolve. As Carl Jung said, true healing begins when a person awakens to their spiritual side, and begins to actively take part in some form of communion with God, through religion or some form of deep spiritual belief. This is a very liberal quote, but it captures the spirit of Dr. Jung's belief, and my own experiences, personal, as well as with clients. This holiday season pray to be awakened to your mystical/spiritual self. Pray to see the mystical and spiritual in all things. Spend more time in nature. Eat more natural foods. Meditate and pray to allow the divine to enter and transform your life and our whole world. Make this the theme of the New Year, for if we do not all do this, as Einstein said, we are as good as dead. We will continue to suffer on many levels personally and worldwide, when all we have to do is open our lives fully to God and the mystical reality of life.
