OPENING LETTER:

Hello Everyone,

I have been on the road the past month visiting family, friends, and clients. I was in Austin, Texas a few weeks ago, I spent time in Virginia, and I am now sending this newsletter out from Maryland. I have spent time in and around Washington, DC going to some of the many wonderful museums and monuments that they have there.

Soon I will heading back through Virginia, then down through the Carolina's, Georgia, and through Florida. Afterwards, I plan to head out to Colorado. If anyone is on my path, in any of the places I have mentioned, or in-between, feel free to email me and say hello. Also, if anyone wishes to see me, or wants an appointment face to face (it is always interesting to actually meet people I have been working with on the phone and internet for years) please email me and let me know. I guess you might wonder what I am doing wandering all over the place. Partly I am visiting family and friends, connecting with some clients who have asked to see me in person, and also I am scouting out a new place in which to live.

Be sure to read the following article on water and Coke. If it were not so serious it would be very funny.

It is so sad to see and know of so many people suffering ill health. TOO many people have or have had cancer, and at such young ages! We don't know all of the causes, we don't have sure cures, but we have learned enough to say, go back to natural ways of eating, cooking and living. Personally, I don't use Teflon pans, microwaves, junk food, foods with a long list of ingredients my great grandma would not know what they were, foods with artificial sweeteners, corn syrup, high fructose syrups, etc. It is such a shame to see children being medicated who are eating all the wrong stuff A crime really. What will become of our futures, our children's futures?

If you get only one thing out of my letter each month, I hope it is that you are inspired to take care of yourselves and those you love, with more attention and care towards what you are eating, drinking, breathing, etc.

WATER AND COKE

WATER

1. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. Likely applies to half the world's population.

2. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger.

3. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as much as 3%.

4. One glass of water shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters in a University of Washington study.

5. Lack of water, the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.

6. Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.

7. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page.

8. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.

COCA-COLA

1. In many states the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coke in the truck to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.

2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it will be gone in two days.

3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and Let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.

4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a crumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.

5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.

6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.

7. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield.

FYI: 1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its Ph is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days.

2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate)the commercial truck must use the Hazardous material placards reserved for Highly Corrosive materials.

3. The distributors of coke have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years!

The mother of Jesus has appeared in various places through the years, and is referred to by different titles. This time, she appeared to Juan Diego, a peasant in Mexico, and the story is remarkable.

***THE HAND OF HOPE: The picture is that of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel Alexander Armas, who is being operated on by a surgeon named Joseph Bruner. The baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not survive if removed from the mother's womb. Little Samuel's mother, Julie Armas, is an obstetrics nurse in Atlanta. She knew of Dr. Bruner's remarkable surgical procedure. Practicing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, he performs these special operations while the baby is still in the womb. In the procedure, a C-section removes the uterus and the doctor makes a small incision to operate on the baby. During the surgery on little Samuel, the little guy reached his tiny, but fully developed, hand through the incision and firmly grasped the surgeon's finger. The photograph captures this amazing event with perfect clarity. The editors titled the picture, "Hand of Hope". The text explaining the picture begins, "The tiny hand of 21-week-old fetus Samuel Alexander Armas emerges from the mother's uterus to grasp the finger of Dr. Joseph Bruner as if thanking the doctor for the gift life....".
